Mayer Cédric (Pully)

Dr. Cédric Mayer studied at Collège Champittet in Pully, followed by medical studies at Lausanne University. His post-graduate training began in neurosurgery (Prof Levivier, CHUV), followed by ophthalmology at Fribourg Hospital (Dr De Gottrau) and then at Jules Gonin Hospital (Prof Zografos/Prof Behar-Cohen). Between 2013 and 2015, he was head of the SNOB pole (strabology, neuro-ophthalmology, low vision) in addition to his policlinic/emergency activities and surgical training. Highly involved in academic training, he regularly supervises assistants and students. He combines the human values of traditional medicine with the latest cutting-edge technologies.

Father of 4 daughters, he upholds family values and speaks French, English and German.

Activities

The Mayer practice offers a wide range of treatments:

• General ophthalmology consultations.
• Pediatric consultations (from birth).
• Neuro-ophthalmology consultation.
• Medical and surgical emergencies.
• Anterior segment surgery (cataract with all types of intraocular implants, pterygium, trauma, conjunctival surgery, etc.).
• Eyelid surgery (dermatochalazis, ptosis, entropion, ectropion, etc.) and lacrimal tract surgery.
• Retinal treatments (intravitreal injections, laser).
• Glaucoma treatment (laser, surgery).

Surgery is carried out at the Clinique Bois-Cerf (Hirslanden Group), the Clinique Montchoisi (Genolier Group) and the Artemed/MV Santé center in Lausanne. As operations are performed on an outpatient basis, no supplementary insurance cover is required!
