Diagnostics
We offer the following diagnostic tests, among others:
- vision assessment - diagnosis of refractive eye problems
- basic ophthalmological examination and fundus examination after pupillary dilation
- gonioscopy and 3-mirror peripheral fundus examination
- measurement of ocular tone (intraocular pressure)
- auto-refractometry and keratometry
- static visual field (static perimetry) - the test most often performed in the diagnosis and monitoring of glaucoma
- dynamic visual field (dynamic perimetry)
- ultrasound biometry in presentation A: measurement of eyeball length
assessment of corneal thickness (corneal pachymetry), a test required prior to refractive corneal surgery and to help determine actual intraocular pressure in the case of thin or thick corneas
- OCT (optical coherence tomography): the advanced method for diagnosing the retina and optic nerve. Precise assessment of the morphology of the different layers of the retina and optic nerve. OCT can be used to diagnose retinal diseases such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD), central serous retinopathy, intraretinal neovascularization and optic nerve assessment in the diagnosis of glaucoma.
